CURRENT STATE HIGHWAY CONDITIONS ALONG
THE CENTRAL COAST
MONTEREY, SAN LUIS OBISPO AND SANTA BARBARA COUNTIES - Due to storm-related problems, below are the current traffic conditions at various locations on State Highways in the Central Coast area.
· Hwy. 1 in Santa Barbara County between Lompoc and Hwy. 101 is closed due to a slipout near Ytias Creek. No estimated time of reopening.
· Hwy. 166 from Highway 101 to Maricopa reopened at 10:30 a.m. today.
· Hwy. 150 in Santa Barbara County just east of Hwy. 101 is closed due to bridge washout. The bridge is scheduled to be rebuilt by fall of 2005. Detour signs are in place.
· Hwy. 144 (Sycamore Canyon Road) in Santa Barbara is closed due to flooding and is expected to reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 23.
· Hwy. 1 near Limekiln State Park, south of Lucia in Monterey County is closed due to a mudslide. No estimated time of reopening.
· Hwy. 33 just south of Hwy. 166 at Santa Barbara/Ventura County. Line. No estimated time of reopening.
· Hwy. 101 northbound rest area at south Bradley closed. No estimated time of reopening.
