School Tours

Appropriate for all ages, educational School Tours offered by Hearst Castle are not only fun, they’re also an engaging and unforgettable way for students to learn about art, architecture, history, and more.

School tours last approximately one hour and forty-five minutes, and groups of 12 to 53 can be accommodated at one time. In addition, School Tours are curriculum-focused, with each supported by a teacher resource packet that contains pre-visit exercises and post-visit follow up activities.

Group Tours

Enjoy a group tour that’s unlike any other in the world. Perched atop a hill, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and San Simeon’s rugged coastline, Hearst Castle is perfect for groups large or small, and offers separate tours so your party can arrive—and tour—together.

Group ticket prices

All daytime tours are $22.50 for adults, $10.80 for children ages 5-12, and free for those under the age of 5.

Discounts

A special 10% discount for booking a group tour of 12 persons or more on the same daytime tour.

Payment

Payment for tours must be received by the Reserve America group sales office at least 14 days prior to the scheduled tour date. Reservations made less than 14 days in advance require credit card payment.

Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 14 days before a scheduled tour date will incur a $7.00 cancellation fee and a $3.50 per ticket service fee.
