Description
Showy bulbs that bloom in early spring. Tulip heights range from 4- 30 inches.
Comments
There are more than 100 species of tulips. Most all require cold winters, or chilling for 6 weeks. Plants do best in full sun. Set bulbs out in October or November in cool winter climates and December or January in warmer regions. Rich, sandy soil is ideal. Do not rely on bulbs to perform the second year ~ even with ideal conditions.
